Interview talks to Game Designer Ivan Magazinnikov, with Lead Programmer

Jonric: What kinds of opponents can players expect to face in King's Bounty:
The Legend? How many different types will there be in all?
Ivan Magazinnikov: There are six races and about 60 neutral creatures in The
Legend plus various modified beings, bosses and creatures that can be
summoned - that is well over 100 different enemies. It is also significant
that the player can obtain control of them all, except the bosses.
Another interesting fact is that you can have children or get divorced. So,
you can replace the annoying daughter of an orc shaman with a pretty widowed
vampire countess. It's up to you!
Besides the common parameters such as race, level, leadership, attack,
defense, initiative, speed, health, damage and its type, resistibility,
chance of critical strike and morality, each unit has its own
characteristics and skills.
Speaking about parameters I will note leadership, speed and morality. The
first shows the amount of leadership required to hire one specific creature.
Speed represents the action points of your unit. In our game, when you take
a turn, you can make a move and then either strike the enemy or use a skill.
Morality influences attack, defense and the chance of critical strike; it
depends on items, the soldiers in your army, spells, arena type and even the
time of the day.
