EverQuest II : From the Eyes of
a Noob
While the title of this article is a
bit long, it explains much. I am essentially a complete newbie when it comes
to Everquest 2, having only played the trial when the game was first released,
and I only played the first Everquest for a month. I wanted to learn more,
and, though Sony's Everquest 2 website provides a lot of information
concerning the classes and races of the game, the only real way to get
information would be to go to a source – an Everquest 2 player who has enough
experience to put things in perspective for me. As a matter of fact, I ended
up finding multiple players who gave me a wide range of information, all of it
vastly useful. |

World of
Warcraft : BlizzCon Goody Bag Preview For
everyone contemplating a trip to this year's BlizzCon (October 10-11 in
Anaheim, California), we'd like to give you a glimpse of just a few items you
might find in your goody bag when you arrive at the show.
If you've ever been on the verge of finishing off a paladin, only to be foiled
at the last second, you'll appreciate the 16” inflatable divine shield ball,
complete with a paladin inside in the midst of hearthing away. Half of the
goody bags handed out will contain the bubble-hearth ball, while the other
half will have...
Frostmourne. The very name of Arthas's runeblade strikes
terror into hearts across Azeroth. Now it comes to you in a more convenient
package, and you don't even have to travel to Icecrown Glacier to get it. As
you go about your daily activities, whether they be raising legions of the
undead or just brooding on your throne, carrying this 48” inflatable
Frostmourne will grant you an extra touch of sinister majesty.

General : Guild System Overview
Berlin, 1st August 2008: Is there anything more fun than
running as a cave man with a pack of cute, prehistoric pets through primeval
forests? Of course there is! Running through primeval forests with a bunch of
cave men, all of them with their own pack of cute, prehistoric pets! StoneAge
2 offers great options for all players to interact with each other.
There are group functions and friend lists, and of course a
comprehensive guild system. But unlike in other games, the guilds of StoneAge
2 are not intended to separate players from each other or for mere battling in
guild wars. The guild system of StoneAge 2 has been created for cooperation
and interaction, including non-member players in fact.
For this purpose, guilds have multiple sponsoring functions.
They can organize custom made quests for other players or hold a PVP
tournament for the best pet teams to compete with each other. They are able to
erect a totem pole not only for showing the glory of their guild but also to
offer useful field functions like an item bank and a warp portal to teleport
to distant places in the game world. Some of these features can be used by
non-members, too. Yet, the most glorious achievement for any guild in StoneAge
2 is to build a legendary guild tower. Legend relates that these buildings can
open a portal to unknown worlds.
Because guilds in StoneAge 2 have such unique features,
creating them is a challenging task. Two high level characters have to
successfully finish a difficult quest line in order to create a guild. But all
efforts and hard work will surely be repaid by the fun and possibilities that
the guild functions do offer. Of course, guilds will have member-only
functions like a guild bank, guild housing (so-called “guild den”), guild
mail, guild chat and guild ranks – not to forget interaction and group play
under the same guild name and guild tag. Beta registration for StoneAge 2 has
already started on www.stoneage2.de.

Warhammer Online : Age of
Reckoning : Pre-Order FAQ
Below are some frequently asked questions
concerning pre-order offers, we will continue to update this page as with
answers to your questions.
I live in Canada how can I pre-order?
You can pre-order your
copy of WAR from FutureShop, EB Games Canada, the
EA Store
and other fine game retailers.
Where are my codes when I pre-order online?: Each retailer may do it
differently, we have no control over the distribution of their codes to
pre-order customers. However, you will generally receive a separate email
specifically containing your codes (in some cases I've seen it take a few
days). Please do not contact EA Mythic Customer Support concerning this -
you must contact your retailer as we will be unable to assist you further.

City of Heroes : Character
Respecs Available
City of Heroes has expanded their
suite of available purchasable services to include Character Respecs (short
for Respecifications). Over the course of leveling up, there are many powers
that a character can choose from. A Character Respec allows the character to
re-select their powers from their chosen primary and secondary powers, along
with any other pools of powers they have access to. To be clear, this
optional purchasable Respec does not allow the primary or secondary powerset
to be reselected; it functions like existing respecs currently available in
game.
Optional Character Respecs are
available via the in-game store found at the character select screen for the
per transaction price of $9.99 USD.
There are already multiple in-game
methods that players can obtain a Respec. Now, if the convenience of
purchasing a Respec is desired, it is available. Having a purchasable option
has been an often heard desire from the game's customers.
